Our Vision: A Home for Healing
SouthShore Recovery Club, a non profit 501(c)(3) organization was created to meet the needs of the South Hillsborough County, Florida and Manatee County recovery communities. We have experienced a tremendous growth of sober people here in the South Tampa area and, with that growth, comes the strain of providing facilities for 12 step meeting groups.
Our recovery community is very active in service work. Our volunteers work with all types of people affected by substance abuse disorders. We meet people where they are - at rehab centers, jails, and other institutions who are ready to begin life as sober people. We offer a hand up to showing them that sobriety is not only possible, it's a beautiful journey.
So, imagine that you truly desire to get and stay sober and are challenged with finding people, activities, and social events that will support your new sober lifestyle. We see this crisis first hand and unfortunately, we also witness the tragedies. We believe that if we can provide a safe and nurturing environment for recovery, we can make a difference!
We are currently seeking donors, sponsors, inventors and fundraising to obtain a property that will fit our immediate needs as well as long term goals. We welcome your input as well as any donations that support this important project . We are also open to volunteers to help in fundraising ideas and events.

A Safe Haven for 12
Step Recovery
SouthShore Recovery Club is more than just an idea — it’s a mission grounded in compassion, community, and commitment. We are working to provide a 12 Step Recovery Club, with the purpose of providing a dedicated space for all aspects of 12 Step recovery.
Right now, we're in a critical fundraising phase to rent or purchase a physical property in South Hillsborough County, Florida. This space will serve as a neutral, inclusive clubhouse where individuals and groups can gather for meetings, fellowship, support, and healing.
We envision a place that’s:
-
Open to all 12 Step fellowships (AA, NA, Al-Anon, etc.)
-
Available 7 days a week
-
Safe, welcoming, and free from judgment
